It's been snowing so much here that I felt compelled to paint something white and fluffy.

Father Ethan is taking his larger and more playful understudy Stefan out to check the traps while the snowfall is lighter. A tumble down a small slope is a golden opportunity for Stefan to pepper the super-serious Ethan with snowballs.

Done in watercolors on Cold Press Paper.

The background is what's real amazing about this. All those different shades and colours in the snow, especially on the trees are eyecandy. And those beautiful changes in the colours of the sky too. Simply amazing.

Eeew snow.

Poor Ethan. My feelings exactly when it comes to winter and anything to do with cold and/or snow. Now, this wouldn't have happened if you'd just done what I do all winter: stay inside.

Of course, had he stayed inside, this situation would not have happened. And I like this picture. *snickers at the expression on Ethan's face*
