The End. His imaginary world dissolves as his physical body dies of malnutrition. His friend is the first to go, followed by his seperate lives- they are all sucked back into the void.

Love this! You reveal that wallpaper is amazing! I love how you've transformed it into a secret land of escapism, like watching clouds.

I have to say, Sebastian looks eerily similar to a character from my original stories, although my character appears slightly older. Great job, I really love your work. BEAUTIFUL interpretation of the textiles in all your art!

Such a tragic story, but I still loved it, along with all the pictures for it. Very beautiful.

:bounce: Hello There! :bounce:

I am happy to tell you that this work hes been featured in my journal for an indefinite time (it can be from a week to a month). Via this way I am trying to give great art an extra push "into the open". Of course, it is needless to say but I have to clarify anyway: the thumbnail in my journal is a direct link to the work in full view.
I hope you can step by and enjoy the other features as well!

Many greetings and congratulations on making such wonderful art!

I followed Sebastian's tragic life in an evening - flicking through the parts - and finally came to the end to find tears in my eyes. You have painted such a heart rending story here and managed, at the same time, to fill the pages with with a bitter longing for freedom and a heart rending sorrow.

I hope this is not the end of Sebastian. I am a sap at heart and would like to see just one more picture - a happy afterlife for a beautiful boy who suffered so much, even if only on paper.

Bravo to your skill

Ohoh...Oh wow...! I wrote a good paragraph in a note about this piece:

"I understood the story before I even began to read the summary of this image the artist gave. The water colors are so delicate and though the comfort of life's soft green surrounds the man that dreams, a violent red slips into his dreams and eats them alive with his death. I just couldn't begin to name off how many people I know including myself who would look at this image and say, "I know how he feels." And with watercolors to top it off, making the liquid drips and drains of blood even more real to the audience."

Just saying...I am in awe.

wow, I am awed by your comments. I have to admit I am very hesitant to post my art on DA because I'm afraid that it'll just get thrown behind the metephorical couch- but your response is I think what anybody who claims to be an artist wishes to see and read.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you until now, in October. Heh heh, quite frankly I have the worst form of snail mail on this site. I'm pleasant in making you happy with what I said! It's true though! I can understand what your saying, I have my own hesitations about posting work up on DA after considering a few of its realities I'm not too fond of.

I'm keeping an eye out for your new work however long that may be. =)
