Ah, sorry. Hot Press is a type of watercolor paper that is much smoother than regular kinds, but it doesn't absorb as much water so you can't do large washes of water on it. ^_^

It's simply used to describe watercolor paper with less tooth than cold pressed paper. Hot pressed paper is smoother and better for extremely detailed work. They are manufactured slightly differently.

Oh, wait! I know that comic! You posted in Comic Creators on Gaia, right? I hope you figure out what's going on, because I do like it, but I have no idea what's going on in it. I just keep reading it, because I want to find out.
