After a long day of hauling frightened cats, over-sized bags and balled up anxieties across the country, ~
lokelani and I finally arrived in San Francisco! We have a lovely room in a sunny Victorian house that on a clear day allows a view across Sunset and Richmond districts and far beyond. That huge icon of the city, the Golden Gate Bridge is standing like a proud sentry over so many ivory and sand-colored building clusters. The hills are so large they peak and cut off right into the ocean- and most of them are covered in lush greens made of conifers and wild sage. The city is amazing, beautiful and delicious. A nice walk in our neighborhood has provided me with all of my favorites- a microbrewery pub, a co-op coffee roastry, several pho restaurants, family Thai and Indian joints, even Korean diners. Throw in a few Chinese bakerys, with their stuffed buns and sponge cakes and I'm fit to be happy here as long as I live. Now to find the means to do so! I'm very pleased with this new home and I'm likely going to be quiet for a time as I run around the streets, flinging my portfolio at anyone who will look at it.
Hopefully I'll have good news soon! Until then everyone, stay well~<3
