I'm a List Fiend!

Journal Entry: Wed Oct 21, 2009, 9:34 AM

So I had a fantastic (oh sarcasm) time at the funeral for ~InaKairie. America's funeral/death system is one of the most cynical things I've had the pleasure to experience. But hers might be the most plastic yet. I had more closure collecting some blood-stained rocks and pressing them to my face, thinking of her life. I had more closure just writing this journal. I found some of the art we shared together and bathed in it's awfulness. Also, my bro brought up some of her journals- she wrote so much, it was like having a conversation with my past. The only thing that really stings is the loneliness in every page. I think I was a negligent friend. I imagine I'll feel guilty for a while. But off of the emo for now. I've got 3 unfinished paintings sitting on my drafting table and a ton of little art trades and kiribans to do.

So here's the list folks:

I believe that featuring other artists is how we, as a community, survive. Many artists are loners by nature, and I'm sure that I am no exception, but no one can say that they aren't inspired by someone else. Each person that we talk to and connect with is another point in a web that catches us and keeps us alive and inspired. Here are, in my opinion, people worth watching. I hope you enjoy their work as much as I have.

I made a nervous little giggle when I saw you watched me. I'd watch you back but as it happens I've already done that. Your art is pure inspiration and so so lovely.

Hi,
you have wonderful style and technique which are worth to admire. I went through your gallery and it is really great. Unfortunatelly, for me is too dark, sad and scary. But fascinating.
